Feeding the chickens…and one of our turkeys sneaking a snack while the hens were too busy to notice.
This clearly shows how well small children can manage chickens - taking responsibility, observing them and caring for them.

Hey, nice blog, and nice chickens, I have 6 and 1 rooster myself and 2 turkeys, do you know how to get a chicken broody, because mine were incubatored for probably many generations and might have lost their instincts, they’re a year old and still don’t show any signs of broodiness etc. like clucking noises when they eat to call their chick, or taking a long time to lay eggs.
